As a Sports Kinesiologist, at my private practice Bend Like Bamboo, I specialise in the emotional links to physical stress. Physical symptoms can be a sign that you are not listening to your mind. Kinesiology looks at the mind which is a mirror image of how you interpret your reality around you and what occurs biochemically in your body. 

When you address mental health and emotions it can be essentially like turning the tap off at the cause, as physical stress has an emotional link. A physical stress can be an end result of you not dealing with an emotion that you’ve buried or avoided. A Kinesiologist will address emotional blocks on a subconscious level via the muscles of the body that are linked to meridians and organs of the body.

Session 1

Kinesiology Introduction

Kinesiology assists the body to find balance again structurally, biochemically, emotionally and spiritually.

From any setback in life or an illness.

The techniques we use at the practice help both mental and physical ailments and apply to multiple issues.

In saying that we customise the session to your needs.

The first session is 2 hours for a full assessment, ongoing sessions are 1 hour.

Session 2

Rescue your mind

It can be overwhelming when you are trying to do the right thing to improve your life but are faced with poor health and lack of energy. That is why we are so passionate about helping you with the right tools, tailored just for you. We assist to empower you along the way, so you can reset and save your energy on doing the work that will allow you to move forward towards living a happier healthier life.

State of mind is key when repairing the body, balancing your neurology and biochemistry.
It is also important for when you are thriving in life. In this session you will learn how your mind is truly connected to your body, your organs and emotional wellbeing. When you feel better you are more inclined to make better choices, value yourself an design a life that inspires you.

How you think and feel is a mirror image of what you see in your reality around you ad what occurs biochemically in your body. Your psychology becomes your biology. The great thing about Kinesiology is it allows to access the subconscious part of the brain that runs 90% of your processes and reactions.

Learn how to manage your stress levels and how to focus on what you want, rather than what you don’t.

Understand how to balance an alarmed state vs safe mode in your body which is so important in your recovery.

Start to feel genuinely safe again, letting go of past trauma’s on a conscious and subconscious level. Ultimately leading to reduced inflammation, a renewed state of mind, willpower and confidence. You will leave literally being a whole new world with brand new lenses.

Session 3

Reclaim your strength

Your posture, hip, neck and jaw alignment are corrected in this session. You will gain an insight into fascia, muscles, tendons, ligaments and tissues and how they are integrated into your acupuncture system and Qi. Your hips can be connected to how supported you feel in your life or how much you are actually supporting yourself. The neck can be related to worry issues and overthinking.

Physical symptoms essentially can be an end result of you not dealing with an emotion or your mental health. Your body is saying hey ! You are not listening… In this session you will learn how to listen to your body, find more vitality and strength in your day that will translate into a much more active life.

Learn how to stretch and move your muscles that are connected to your emotional wellbeing and behaviour.

We will suggest a custom stretching and movement program for you that is relevant to your current emotional state.

A combination of inner and outer work is important to get your body back on track.

We recommend using restorative with strength & endurance exercise, as the best way to maximise homeostasis in the body.

Session 4

Recover your soul

In this session you will learn how to reconnect with yourself.

There is science about the flow state, the sweet spot, where the body can find ‘effortlessness’ and you will learn all about this and how to achieve it reaching your fullest potential.

When you are more connected this allows you to see life from a higher upstanding, seeing obstacles as opportunities.

In this session learn how to integrate sessions 1-3

When you eat better and feel better this leads you to be a more connected human being.

This is where the magic lives and the right environment your body needs to repair and thrive.

Lean about mindfulness, mediation and how to do it every day effortlessly like you would brush your teeth.

This can make you feel more guided, increasing experiences of joy and trust in your life.

By the end of this season you will be firing happy and healing hormones in your mind and body.

Session 5

Nourish your body with ‘happy food’

The Nourish score by Amanda Campbell and her team was created to reduce confusion of conflicting information out there of do’s and don’ts.

It can be overwhelming when you are trying to do the right thing to improve your health but are faced with poor health and lack of energy.

The Nourish score includes up to date data of optimal macro and micro nutrients that have been studied, backed by science, to nourish the body on a cellular level improving brain, gut and cellular health. As a result you are giving your mind and body the best chance to repair, reorganise and thrive again.

Receive loads of nourishing recipes all designed to nourish your body on a cellular level.

Let us do all the hard work for you… Amanda will educate you with do’s and don’ts from scientifically backed data from Doctor’s that specialise in anti -inflammation and Autoimmune disease. Plus all of her own research and personal experience in the field of recovery and wellness.
