In Part 1 What is Kinesiology, we explored what kinesiology is and how it works with the body as an integrated whole. Now, let's talk about what happens when you step into the Bend Like Bamboo Method.
Whether you're navigating an autoimmune condition through the HEAL Program or working through executive burnout in the THRIVE Program, the journey unfolds over six transformative sessions. Each one builds on the last, creating a framework for sustainable healing and resilience.
This isn't a quick fix. It's a complete recalibration of how your nervous system responds to stress, how your body holds emotion, and how you show up in your life.

The Foundation: Six Pillars, Six Sessions
The Bend Like Bamboo Method is built on six evidence-based pillars of health:

Each session focuses on one pillar while building on the foundation laid in previous sessions. And while the structure is consistent, every session is tailored to what your body needs in that moment.
Sessions are typically spaced 2-4 weeks apart. This gives your nervous system time to integrate the shifts and allows new patterns to take root before we move deeper.
Session 1: The Foundation – Understanding Your Stress Response
Duration: 1.5 hours
What Happens
Your first session begins with a 30-minute conversation. We talk about your goals, your symptoms, and what brought you here. This isn't just information gathering—it's the beginning of understanding the deeper patterns at play.
Next comes 15 minutes of mindset coaching, where you'll learn tools to help integrate the session. These tools rewire your brain to fire growth and repair pathways instead of defaulting to survival and stress signals.
Then you'll experience your first 45-minute kinesiology session—either on a massage table or via Zoom if you prefer virtual sessions.
In this first session, we focus on identifying what triggers your stress response. For everyone, this looks different. But once you understand your unique patterns, you gain the awareness needed to shift them.

You'll begin to see how chronic stress has been running in the background—showing up as perfectionism, people-pleasing, constant worry, or the inability to receive support.
We explore patterns like:

Session 2: The State Shift – From Autopilot to Presence
Duration: 1.5 hours
What Happens
We begin with a 15-minute check-in to see how you've been feeling—mentally, physically, emotionally—since our last session.
In session two, we explore the state of mind that promotes stress, degeneration, and inflammation. That feeling of being disengaged, living on autopilot, going through the motions.
Through kinesiology, we shift you into a more flexible, present state—one that promotes growth, repair, mood stability, and healing.

Session 3: The Body Connection – Movement & Release
Duration: 1.5 hours
What Happens
After our 15-minute check-in, session three focuses on movement, stretches, and exercises that promote fitness, detoxification, and endurance.
Your customised mind-body movement program isn't about pushing harder—it's about helping you release stress and let go of the emotions you're ready to move through.
I'll assess any physical symptoms or pain and work to aid correction, addressing you on all four layers:

Structural – Posture alignment, fascia, cranial work, TMJ, tendon/ligament stress, pain
Biochemical – Nutrition, hormones, toxins, gut health
Mental-Emotional – Emotional links to physical ailments, shifting fear-based beliefs

You'll learn which foods maximise repair, which ones to focus on, and which ones to avoid—based on research and what your body specifically needs.
The Practical Part
This isn't about restriction. It's about abundance and nourishment.
