Hi, I am Amanda founder of Bend Like Bamboo a program designed to maximise resilience and your health with flexibility.
Whether you are experiencing mental or physical symptoms, are feeling fatigued, or are going through a change in your life, I know firsthand how challenging and overwhelming it can be to know the next steps to take to feel better emotionally and physically.

The best thing we can do when we are not operating at our best, is to stop, change our environment, reconnect back to nature, back to ourselves and within our relationships.

What is involved?

Get away for a day for your dose of vitamin SEA at the Peninsula in McCrae. Learn proven strategies to rebuild your mind, body, and life. Destress at the morning wellness workshops, cook with Lifestyle coach and chef Ihsan Tuncel, reset on afternoon ocean walks, and manifestation rituals on the beach. Hotsprings can be booked upon request. You can also stay for the full weekend retreat Friday afternoon - Sunday afternoon.

Amanda Campbell, Sports Kinesiologist, Resilience Trainer.

Amanda Campbell is the founder of Bend Like Bamboo, a program designed to destress and reset, reaching your fullest potential. As a Sports Kinesiologist and resilience trainer, Amanda works with individuals to boost resilience with flexibility.

She believes that with a flexible mindset, we can change our minds about the stories we imprison ourselves in and reimagine what can be possible in our minds, body, and life.

Overcoming a paralysis at age 29 from MS, she discovered that a flexible mindset impacts everything that matters: our body’s ability to repair, how happy and resilient we are and how connected we feel.

What is involved for the weekend retreats?

Arrive in paradise.

Friday afternoon, or after work, arrive at your luxury accommodation by the sea in McCrae. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant or you can cook yourself a delicious dinner in your fully serviced apartment.

Destress.

Day 1. Saturday

  • Enjoy breakfast provided in your deluxe apartment by the sea.

  • Followed by two wellness workshops presented by your hosts starting at 9 am sharp 5 min drive to the Dromana community house.

  • Workshop: The Power of Self-belief and Resilience by Amanda & my story of an MS diagnosis at age 24 and paralysis at age 29.

  • Lunch at 1 pm.

  • Enjoy bathing and relaxing at the hot springs for the afternoon and into the evening.

  • You can enjoy the night to yourself and explore many wonderful dinner destinations on the Peninsula.

Reset.


Day 2. Sunday

  • Enjoy breakfast provided in your deluxe apartment by the sea.

  • Check out of your apartment by 10 am.

  • Followed by a wellness workshop presented by a special guest starting at 10 am sharp 5 min drive to the Dromana community house.

  • 10 am Workshop: A happy mindset is Flexible by Amanda.

  • Lunch at 12 PM

  • 2 pm: Walk & stretch on the beach, shopping in Sorrento.

  • 4 pm That’s a wrap x

Ihsan Tuncel, Holistic Performance Coach.

My journey to becoming a holistic health coach started when I had a unique moment in 2001. At the time, I had a laundry list of adverse health symptoms, and it got to a stage where I really began to worry about my health and my future. I also began to ask many questions.


Why was my health so average?

Why was I always feeling tired?

Why are there so many unwell people in society?

Is average health just the way it's meant to be?

I went on a journey of exploration. I was curious to see how healthy I could be. I invested in fitness and exercise which lead me to become a Personal Trainer, and I ventured into holistic health and wellness. I studied Holistic Lifestyle Coaching and became a certified practitioner.

This is when my personal health went to amazing new heights. I never knew I could be this healthy! There was no going back at this point. I have also heavily invested in learning the power of the human mind. Studying Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and the importance of our thoughts. Every thought is a seed and with our thoughts, we can change our lives. Through my own journey, I realised how important it is to take a holistic approach to health and wellness. It's not just about managing symptoms, but about building health from the ground up and taking care of yourself on all levels - mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual.

As a holistic health coach, I'm passionate about helping others on their own health journeys as my mission is to see more healthy people on our planet. I bring a unique approach and perspective to coaching, having experienced the challenges and frustrations of chronic fatigue and anxiety. I believe that everyone deserves and has the potential to heal and thrive, and I'm committed to helping my clients achieve their health and wellness goals using a truly holistic approach.
